I personally believe that the interim rule does not bode well for farmers OR consumers.  It further narrows the amount of strains out there that would meet the new legal requirements for the regulation of 0.3 TOTAL THC. It would also drive up prices, and significantly lower the legal supply. So basically, most of the wonderful hemp strains we have now that have higher THCA content would be illegal because their total THC would be well over 0.3 post decarb (most strains we have now closer to 0.5% to 1% TOTAL THC, but are well under the 0.3 d9thc limit).  Absolutely stupid and infuriating if you ask me.

I'm hoping that Tennessee will petition to continue running its own program instead of letting the feds tramp all over what has been established over the last year.  We need forward progress, not backwards.

Well let's look at it for what it really is. Mitch McConnell drafted the USDA bill reset the new limits and he's trying to control the federal landscape ocbd production. I'm just very interested in the fact that he represents Kentucky and has made it clear that he wants his state to lead the US and CBD and hemp production. I also find it very interesting that he has very close ties with a Kentucky company gencanna, who coincidentally just patented a zero THC strain that they own the patent on earlier this year. it's almost like he's letting his State politics and his personal economics dictate federal laws to benefit him and his friends and his home state he represents.

Kentucky's hemp program is also one of the most expensive to apply and support in the Country.  It's definitely not a state thats going to lead, so it's unfortunate that he might be pushing an agenda.  And while a "zero" THC strain might be good for certain things, I highly doubt that it will be a great product (or desirable) for what people use CBD and hemp for.  CBD works best when there is some THC, mainly due to the Entourage effect.

The new law will take place a year from now, and it's interim so only temporary, but shitty non the less.

making the process of decarboxylation of thcA ->^9thc illegal is totalitarian pro death.
these plants are photosynthe biogenesis acids and proteins. argueing good or bad cbd vs thc etc.
it has been brought to my attention that if you can harvest a field of hemp <0.3%thc you can still extract the thc using supercricitcal CO2 extractors.

Unlevel Playing Field
also if companies on the west coast can grow THC/CBD Oil worth more value $350/Oz How are we hemp farmers growing medicine for people that severely need it supposed to compete? When our oils are only worth $50/Oz

Black Blotches from ???chem Trails

Methods of controlling THC in HEMP
1. GENETICS hemp strains genetically PROGRAMMED to not make THCa
2. Spray with H2O2 right before harvest(hydrogen Peroxide)
3. Testing DRY MATTER for THCa at week 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 dialing in when a plant is ready to harvest to be a BLUE or COLD GARDEN
4. When in doubt bake at 150 degrees 8-10 hours bye bye thc may have to reconsisute with water by holding in strainer over boiling water for twenty seconds.
5. USE DEHYDRATOR to SUCK ALL THE WATER OUT OF THE PLANT IN THREE OR FOUR DAYS TOTALLY SCREWS THE CURE BOOM NO THC
6. Now myself and a bunch of other CBD Medicinal Industrial Hemp growers have a few pounds of THCless hemp
onto the next point

THC less than 0.3% is a very small number.
lets think in terms of water for a minute.
100 drops of water = 1 teaspoon
10 teaspoons = 1000 drops of water
to the 1000 drops of water add 39 drops of RED food coloring.
the ten teaspoons of water will turn RED. the 39 drops of water represent 0.39% THC maximum allowable amount of THC before crossing the threshold of .4%
change the red food coloring to VINAGAR. if you drink it you will taste the vinegar.
To make THC illegal in any form is creating a black market as we live in THE SMOKEY MOUNTAINS.
I am Legal and have a hemp license. I grow great hemp.
But the Black market around I am just going to say people getting ten thousand dollar boxes in the mail, cartriges, people growing not hemp all around these parts.

I could go on and on seems a lot of Tennessee hemp farmers are stuck with flower the dispensaries are full.
New Dispensary here in town is Colorado owned and COLORADO Stocked and they were boasting up to .9%Thc.
How to compete
unfair playing field
if they can grow Trainwreck or Purple Haze in Colorado or California and separate the THC and CBDs out they can creat better quality CBDs than we can grow with in the HEMP boundries and rules.
The Keep Marijuana illegal bill.
If I can DIE for my COUNTRY, I don't think it is too much to ask to have a naturally occurring plant.
Yes I am a veteran If this army of one can jump out of airplanes with M16 and die for our FREEDOMS.
I should have the right to persue happiness.

I purchased 150 hemp plants and might make the $10K goal. Big Maybe Weather, Mold, Blotch, Etc Issues and It aint Easy etc
If I was growing THC PLANTS the value of these 150 plants would be $60K.

Police in these towns are still confiscating CBD Flower.
ALSO Pound of HEMP CONFISCATED in the Mail. These Guys!

China has 100 Years on our hemp fiber industry.
Kentucky I heard is setting up huge fiber processing plants.
$700/Acre for fiber roughly
$350/LB for CBD OIL
seed is everywhere buy consistency is hit and miss.

10%of all CBD crops go hot statistically speaking.

I have search for weeks and month on ways to LOWER THC.
ZERO ARTICLES as man has been working on enhancing the THC molecules for medicine
Where is it written THC is BAD CBD is GOOD.
We the PEOPLE IN ORDER TO FORM A MORE PERFECT UNION
ESTABLISH JUSTICE. WHERE IS OUR JUSTICE?
ENSURE DOMESTIC TRANQUILITY, ETC
I think this is best left to a GREEN TIDAL WAVE you can not stop.
Legal on the West Coast Legal up and down the East Coast, you the government is creating a black market for marijuana in the center.
If you truly would like to treat it as a commodity legalization and decriminalization of an herbal nation.
If their was ever a time for an executive order undoing the prohibitions the time is now.

One more vent! I like how when the government wants to legalize it is all okay.
Who defined medicinal and recreational is their a difference?
to it is medicine and recreation

GOD BLESS THE USA
VICTORY GARDENS

P.S.making preparations to sell my home
and move to a state where
above .3% plants are acceptable.
I am not a criminal because of a plant.

The issue isn't making decarb illegal, the issue is that any plant that contains a TOTAL THC above 0.3 will be illegal.  This means, for example and hypothetically, that if you have a plant that is 0.15  D9-THC Andrew also contains 0.25 THCa, it is going to test hot and become illegal.  How is this?  Well, 0.15d9 + (.25thca * 87.7(decarb conversion rate)) = ~0.37 total THC which would be over the "new" legal limit as the new legal limit will be well over 0.3 total THC. Dialing in these numbers is very difficult because when the trichomes start producing is when those percentages (especially THCA) start climbing.  This will significantly reduce the amount of farmers who can bring actual legal product to table, and produce a supply shortage most retailers.  This process will also create product that is inferior to some of the best hemp strains that we currently have.

This is a power grab by Mitch McConnell and high ranking USDA officials. Follow this year's timeline. Gencanna(a huge multinational corporation) decided to "partner" with a Kentucky breeder. Next thing you know they have a zero THC, patented strain, Mitch McConnell and USDA officials start touring their facilities, and becoming gencannas best buddies. Suddenly, USDA guidelines start forming that make gencanna's strain the only legal hemp strain that is domestically produced and can be used under those new guidelines. Next, gencanna decides to be a publicly traded company, and guess who's handling it for them? Goldman Sachs........ Fast forward to oct. 31st, Mitch McConnell pushes these ridiculous federal rules through, and the NEXT DAY is taking a victory lap and giving a congratulations speech at.........Gencannas Kentucky facility.......
Should you comment to the USDA, yes, will It work, probably not, unless you've got money and Goldman Sachs and senators in your pocket like gencanna does. We all need to alert the media, journalists, and cannabis activist groups and lawyers. We need to know what kind of financial gains that McConnell and high ranking USDA officials are getting for this corruption and conflict of interest.

All of us real, domestic hemp farmers have 60 days to bring down the atrocity that a massive global hemp corporation and a handful of corrupt politicians have written.

asked hemp inspector if they care about testing for pesticides? nope don't care she said! ALL ABOUT MONEY!
asked hemp inspector about all the illegal grows and the possibility of contaminated seed making it to market through the hemp flower? She said they don't care about seed, only FLOWER!
Hemp inspector also said in this district 400 HEMP growers zero were growing for fiber.
local Colorado owned CBD hemp dispensary: "we are Colorado owned and supplied!
local Colorado owned CBD hemp dispensary:" we turn away three hemp farmers flower a week"!
local Colorado owned CBD hemp dispensary:"Our bud is allowed upto 0.9%thc!
seems everyone is on a different page
Mailed HEMP  FLOWER TO COLORADO made it to destination.
Mailed HEMP FLOWER TO PENNSYLVANIA confiscated. CAN WE MAKE A FEDERAL LAW SUIT OUT OF THIS AS MY HEMP is 0.08% THC WELL BELOW 0.3% THCa were .51
If Pennsylvania PASSES Senate Bill 350
I am moving IMMEDIATELY to set up a MICRO GROW as I HAVE PA Ties!!
