I can't find anything online that specifies size requirement or regulation if approved. Is it possible to grow smaller batches? Or Outdoor in residential areas. Do you have to grow on an industrial level? I used to do something similar in California. I was a cultivator for a little over 4 years and would love to get back into it. I truly believe that it helps on a medicinal level. When out there I focused most of my energy on higher CBD type strains.

No size requirement.  I put 50 plants outside this year.  Hoping to sell cut flower (smokeable), however it is an experimental year for the most part. Hard to beat the $250 license fee considering what some other states are charging.

Awesome! I hope you have a great harvest this year! It's getting close to time ( depending on your strain). Is there any type of restrictions on type of property; I.E. residential or rural. I have access to 35 acres and permission to use. I just don't live there. If approved I would like to have a small greenhouse in my yard as well as on the property.

Stanley89, you can grow anywhere. If you want to have 5 plants in your back yard by the swing set or in the spare bedroom, just make on your application you male notation of the proposed growing area. Go big or Go small, they just want the data submitted. Good luck and remember that they accept applications year round, but they expire in June I believe .

I'm currently growing in my spare room in my apartment in a 3x3 tent.  I didn't have any issues getting approved and I don't think the TDA cares so much about particulars as long as your provide all of the information they ask for.

Awesome thanks for the info. My wife and I have converted our cabin into a 4 room grow house with a fifth room for veg. We've also got a 30x12 outbuilding we intend to make some rooms out of. Once we get rolling we should have an indoor harvest every 6 days, mostly hydroponics. We've Also got our half acre yard to dedicate to outdoor as well as my father in law has allocated 5 acres for me to use as I please. I'm hoping to be completely self employed by the end of 2020. Our LLC name is Smoky Mountain Smokeables LLC here in East Tennessee. You are correct, June 30th is the reapply date.
